Indian Home Minister Assures Full and Comprehensive Commonwealth Games Security

India’s Home Minister P Chidambaram assured the public that next year’s Commonwealth Games will have a “comprehensive and full” security as the government had come up with several measures to avoid untoward incidents in this prestigious sporting event among Commonwealth countries.

In an interview with a local television news network, Chidambaram assured the public that they are doing their best at this point to make sure that no participant from other countries will have apprehensions in attending the Commonwealth Games in New Delhi next year.

These assurances came about following the pulling out of the England team in last month’s World Badminton Championships in Hyderabad.
