Movies Are Fun

My husband and I went out for a date night a few days ago and it was such a great time. We have two children and our lives have been very busy and the amount of time that we get together has lessened over the years. It is rare that we get to spend more than one hour together alone. My mother was kind enough to offer us babysitting and we took her up on that. The dinner that we enjoyed was wonderful because we did not make it. The restaurant that was visited is kind of upscale but not too much because dressing up to the hill is not enjoyed by either of us. The steaks were cooked perfect and the chocolate cake was mouth watering.

After this fun we went to the theaters to escape from reality. They are about a ten minute walk and since he just got his knees successfully treated walking was easy. I am romantic and love chick flicks so it was the movie about relationships. He was not that into it but because of the love that is shared for the one actress amongst us there was no issue. After the entire film it was back to reality and when the time was away it seemed just great. The truth is once we got home and saw our happy kids it dawned on us how much they were missed and enjoyed.
